My experience at Ian Grieve was positive because our salesperson, David, proved to be knowledgeable, personable and very helpful. No giving nonsense. We were planning to go and see another car before making our decision and David was friendly, honest and not pushy at all which we found endearing. He also offered us another alternative car that had zero road tax and after thinking about it we just came back for this option without visiting the other dealer. He also explained clearly all the steps to complete the purchase and had the car ready within hours which was a godsend as I needed it for work. AAA to him.

Really satisfied with the sales service from Ian Grieves especially the rep David Driver during the lockdown. Appreciate the team facilitating the test drive of my vehicle Part Exchange was smooth. One negative experience however was that my car came with only one functioning Day Time Light. I only noticed this after 5 days of my purchase, now I have to pay over £100 to have a DRL fitted. I thought the garage should have provided a replace DRL bulb for free.
Otherwise the team at Ian Grieves have been great.

My experience at Ian Grieve was memorable because the salesman understood what I was after right from the start and did everything to meet my requirements and expectations. I was only shown vehicles that met my requirements and price range. There was a good choice due to the volume of turnover at this dealer. Car was immaculate when picked up and the social distancing measures were very well thought out.

David Benwell at Ian Grieve was a pleasure to deal with. I'd recommend Ian Grieve to a friend because from the 1st phone call everything was carried out professionally, friendly and without any pressure. They did all the things they said they would do. I live on an island, at the time getting ferry bookings was very difficult - over 2 weeks timescale - and at no point was that an issue. Robert Spalding deserves praise for his efficient and friendly handling of the transaction.

Ian Grieve were fantastic because from my initial emails then lengthy telephone calls with Gavin and various cars I was looking at I decided in one on particular range the next day reserved it and drove up 2 hours car was ready for test drive and came back and we discussed various alternatives before deciding in the new vitara people buy off people and gavin was a human and not a pressure salesman price was agreed quickly and paid for ,collected a few days later and even put my plates on for photos of my old car and new one together for my photos great service from a fellow petrolhead would recommend 100% such a pleasant buying experience

Ian Grieve were great because. I saw a car on auto trader that they were selling, agreed to buy it and despite the fact I was coming from London to purchase the vehicle they made the whole experience a pleasure and even went to the added effort of booking a minicab to pick me up from the train station to ensure I could get to the dealership to pick up the car with minimal inconvenience and ensuring social distancing rules were abided by. In addition knowing the distance I was travelling they ensured that I had a full tank of fuel and that the car was handed over looking immaculate.

I was pleased with Ian Grieve and would recommend them because the salesman was excellent -David Driver. Unfortunately the prep for my vehicle was poor, brake callipers pins rattling, torn calliper seals on both front wheels, leaking brake light soaking the load area. I have still to go back on the callipers themselves as these are needing replaced, This should all have been fone ore delivery, particularly when we were buying two vehicles.
